The incident took place at the intersection of the M-315 and the M-404. The vehicle, carrying two occupants, went off the road and impacted a tree with great force.
SUMMA medical personnel confirmed the death of the 27-year-old driver due to multiple injuries sustained in the crash. The victim was trapped inside the car and required the intervention of the Community of Madrid Firefighters for extrication.
The second occupant of the car, a 42-year-old male, was found several meters from the impact point. He presented with severe head, chest, and abdominal trauma. After being stabilized and intubated at the scene by paramedics, he was urgently transported to Hospital Gregorio Marañón in very serious condition.
Emergency services received the call at 01:48 AM. The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
