The town is preparing to be one of the region's key points for observing this astronomical event. To participate in the various proposals, the council has established a mandatory pre-registration period through a form available on its official website.
The cultural and informative program will take place between August 1 and 15. A highlight is the photographic exhibition on the 1905 eclipse, which can be visited at the Vega del Tajuña Nature Center throughout the fortnight.
The main days of the event will be August 11 and 12. During these days, there will be guided routes along the Vía Verde del Tajuña, family workshops on building astronomical instruments, and general rehearsals to ensure safe observation of the solar phenomenon.
