The exhibition 'Walls That Speak' offers an innovative perspective on the Sierra Norte of Madrid, using urban art to showcase the traditions, customs, and characteristic landscapes of the rural world.
The project aims to enhance territorial identity by fostering a dialogue between urban art, culture, and nature. A total of 31 experienced artists have created 42 unique murals spread across the different municipalities of the Sierra Norte.
'Walls That Speak' is conceived as an open-air art collection, providing a multifaceted view of the region's richness and offering a creative journey connecting history, nature, and art.
The exhibition is located at the Centro Comarcal de Humanidades Sierra Norte, at Av. de la Cabrera, 96, 28751 La Cabrera, Madrid. It is accessible via public transport with intercity bus lines (191, 194, 195, 196, 197-B) from Madrid (Plaza Castilla), with a stop near the center. By private car, access is via exit 60 of the A1, about a 35-45 minute drive from the capital.
