The Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra is allocating €36,907.20 to job creation and the enhancement of public services, as part of the 2026 Public Employment-Training Program for Professional Activation, driven by the Community of Madrid.

This initiative, promoted by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Employment, aims to provide employment opportunities for unemployed individuals in rural areas, improving their qualifications and actively combating depopulation. These new hires will enable the council to optimize citizen services and maintain local infrastructure.
Over an eight-month period, two key technical profiles will be integrated to support the municipality's development. A Web Technician will focus on enhancing the town's digital presence, managing institutional communication, and facilitating access to online services for residents. Additionally, a First-Class Officer will be responsible for the maintenance, conservation, and improvement of infrastructure, public buildings, and the urban environment.
Through these new additions, the Town Hall reaffirms its commitment to local employment and the sustainable development of the Biosphere Reserve.
