The Cultural and Recreational Association of Villavieja del Lozoya, with the support of the City Council, has organized the traditional 'La Vereda y la Villa' Day and Festival.

The celebration, which benefits from the collaboration of local residents, was divided into two parts. In the morning, an explanatory tour was conducted to the Dehesa de la Villa. Subsequently, the Emotional Map itinerary took place, where local residents shared information about ethnographic elements such as the livestock pen, the Fuente del Lugar, the irrigation channel, the orchard, the washhouse, the forge, the oven, the chicken coop, the bull pen, the shoeing rack, the Mudejar arch, and the manor house.
In the afternoon, the municipal park “El Sauquillo” hosted various festive activities, workshops, and an exhibition about La Vaquilla. Attendees could enjoy an affordable meal and a market featuring crafts and products from the Sierra region.

The afternoon session featured a craft and Sierra producers' market, the La Vaquilla exhibition, and a talk on its origins, ethnography, and intangible heritage, with historian Nuria Ferrer and Félix Angel.

The afternoon continued with regional dance performances by the group «Semillas del Arte» and the «Rondalla de Valdemanco y amigos». The amateur theater group «La Compañía» from Villavieja del Lozoya presented a performance, and the event concluded with a concert by the group «Pa unas prisas».
