Residents and visitors enjoyed an afternoon dedicated to music, creativity, and astronomy. The program began at 6:30 PM with a workshop on building musical instruments led by luthier Alberto Mengs, who shared the history of the instruments and guided participants in their creation. The activity was designed for all ages, requiring adult accompaniment for children under 8.
Later, at 8:30 PM, Alberto Mengs and La Orquesta Imprevista, comprising over twenty musicians, presented a narrated performance based on an ancient Japanese legend. Following the show, Mengs provided tips for identifying constellations related to the story, thus connecting narration, music, and sky observation.
“"We expect to resolve it soon..."
The day concluded with a micro-concert of Asian-inspired music by Alberto Mengs & Cía.. This performance featured some of the instruments crafted in the workshop, alongside others from as far as Uzbekistan, offering a sonic journey through different cultures. Attendees were advised to bring a mat and light warm clothing to comfortably enjoy the experience, which was designed to be savored while lying on the ground in an intimate setting.
