The Picasso Museum – Eugenio Arias Collection in Buitrago del Lozoya is hosting summer workshops for families with children aged 5 to 12, exploring the friendship between Picasso and Eugenio Arias through creative activities.

The Picasso Museum – Eugenio Arias Collection, in collaboration with the Buitrago del Lozoya City Council, offers a series of summer workshops designed for children to discover the friendship between Pablo Picasso and Eugenio Arias. The activity, led by IDAE, focuses on recreating aspects of their daily and affectionate relationship.
Participants, children aged 5 to 12 years old, will immerse themselves in six different workshops. Through a fun scavenger hunt, they will turn history into an interactive experience. Each challenge is designed to evoke an aspect of the deep bond that united the two artists.
They will experiment with various artistic techniques to create items such as toys, mobiles, or visual poems. The main workshop will take place on Saturday, July 11, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, focusing on little-known painting techniques, material experimentation processes, and creative rituals.
The activity is free, but capacity is limited, making advance reservations essential. Interested individuals should contact via email at [museopicasso@buitrago.org](mailto:museopicasso@buitrago.org) or by phone at +34 918 680 056 ext. 4, providing the full names of the participants, the number of spots to reserve, and a contact phone number.
