For the second consecutive year, residents from several municipalities in Madrid's Sierra Norte, including Redueña and Gascones, attended the Goyesca Bullfight at Las Ventas bullring on May 2nd, thanks to the collaboration of the Center for Bullfighting Affairs.

On May 2nd, residents from Redueña, La Serna, Gascones, Puentes Viejas, and Braojos had the opportunity to attend the traditional Goyesca Bullfight at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas. This initiative, organized by the Center for Bullfighting Affairs of the Community of Madrid, provided 40 free tickets, aiming to bring bullfighting closer to communities with limited resources and allow them to enjoy the event at the renowned «Cathedral of Bullfighting».
The respective town councils managed the transportation logistics to the capital. Before the event, attendees had the chance to greet Miguel Ángel Martín Lorenzo, managing director of the Center for Bullfighting Affairs, accompanied by several councilors from the Community of Madrid.
Although the day began marked by rain, the afternoon allowed for full enjoyment of the celebration. Las Ventas bullring was specially decorated for the occasion, featuring a striking parade of Goya-esque floats and costumes inspired by the 19th century, evoking the works of Francisco de Goya.
One of the unique aspects of this day is the opportunity for spectators to walk on the arena floor, although this year it was canceled due to the morning rain to preserve the plaza's condition. The lineup of bullfighters included Uceda Leal, Manuel Jesús “El Cid”, and Javier Cortés, facing bulls from the El Pilar ranch, delivering moments of «great depth and bullfighting artistry».
