Sesión Vermú Breaks Records with 83 Concerts in 24 Madrid Municipalities

The seventh edition of the independent music festival spans across the Community of Madrid during April and May, offering a diverse musical program.

The seventh edition of Sesión Vermú, a well-established spring music event in the Community of Madrid, has set a new record with 83 performances scheduled across 24 towns, promising rhythm-filled weekends throughout April and May.

This concert series, which has become a regional tradition, commenced on April 11 and will run until Saturday, May 2, coinciding with the May long weekend for the second consecutive year. While indie music remains the main focus, the festival also incorporates genres such as urban music, flamenco, punk, and folk elements, featuring a total of 49 participating bands and artists.
Among the municipalities hosting these events are Arganda del Rey, Chinchón, Villamanrique del Tajo, Villanueva del Pardillo, and Aranjuez, with notable performances by Dimante Negro, Baloncesto, Begut, and DE FEM during the weekend of April 18 and 19.
On the weekend of April 25 and 26, music will reach towns such as El Atazar, Becerril de la Sierra, Buitrago de Lozoya, La Cabrera, Pelayos de la Presa, Chapinería, and Brunete. Artists like julia amor, restinga, Carmen Lancho, and Anna Andreu will present their musical offerings in various town squares.
Finally, on May 1 and 2, Aldea del Fresno, Navalagamella, Loeches, Nuevo Baztán, and the Parque de San Lorenzo de El Escorial will be the venues for the final days of Sesión Vermú, featuring groups such as Estrogenuinas, Rata Negra, Mordaza, and Medalla, thus concluding a historic edition due to its scope and diversity.
