Today, the essential work of rural women is celebrated and recognized, as they are protagonists of the economic, social, cultural, and environmental development of our towns. Their work, effort, and commitment contribute to keeping our municipalities alive and building a stronger, more sustainable, and egalitarian rural environment.
From the City Council, we join the institutional declaration of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), reaffirming our commitment to equal opportunities, female entrepreneurship, social participation, and the recognition of all women who live and work in rural areas.
“"Thanks to all the women in our municipality for your daily contribution to the present and future of our towns."
Because supporting rural women means strengthening our municipalities and advancing towards a more just and inclusive society.
