Attendees had the opportunity to walk along part of the trail that houses the 138 works comprising “The Valley of Dreams”. These artistic creations are distributed both in the streets and on the walls of the well-maintained village, as well as among the oak, beech, and other native species that characterize the landscape of Puebla de la Sierra.
This gathering has become a cultural benchmark in the Sierra del Rincón, noted for the quality and diversity of the sculptures, as well as its ability to integrate contemporary art into the natural environment and local identity. The Biennial acts as a cultural driver, strengthening Puebla de la Sierra's projection as a space for creation, reflection, and encounter.
“"We encourage everyone to visit the village, the route, and the Contemporary Art and Drawing Museums housed in the town hall."
During the event, awards were presented to outstanding artists. The gold medal went to Jean Baptiste Van del Heede for his work Catedral, made from iroko wood. The silver medal was awarded to Eugenio López de Quintana for Esquilferas II, a piece of iron and concrete.
Bronze medals were given to Fernando Valero for Anteo (stone), Cándido Monge for Cruce de Caminos (iron sheet and oxide patina), Ángel Solana for La Dama de la Música (artificial stone and metal), Carlos Mediavilla for Torre de Babel (sheet metal), and Xavier Raventós for the series Mirando al Cielo (iron). The attending artists presented their new works to the public.
This event not only offers a unique experience by combining art and nature but also contributes to responsible tourism, promoting a visiting model that respects the environment and is committed to the sustainable development of the region. It champions tourism that values culture, landscape, and the local community, generating a positive impact both socially and economically.
After the tour and award ceremony, the day concluded with performances by Repiques Serranos and the Rondalla de Puebla, followed by a communal meal. Additionally, on the same April 25, a short film screening from the Ponme Un Corto Festival took place at La Posada de Puebla de la Sierra, in collaboration with the Puebla Film Festival.
