The La Cabrera City Council has announced the launch of the “Patios Abiertos” program for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering extracurricular and non-school day activities.

This initiative, funded by the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, and Universities, aims to facilitate family work-life balance and provide children with a space to play and enjoy during periods without academic activity.
The program includes opening hours during various key dates: non-school days in September (from the 1st until the start of the term), the Christmas period, Easter Week (including adjacent non-school days), and other specific days such as February 12th and 15th, 2027.
Registration is now open via email at sierranortenatura@gmail.com. The schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a cost of €3 per day. Extended hours are available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The proposal emphasizes outdoor learning and environmental care, under the motto: "Play, learn, and enjoy. We learn outdoors, we care for our surroundings."
