The competition is open to all individuals over 18 years of age who wish to participate with a single, unpublished, and original story. The theme is free choice, but the maximum length is limited to fifteen typed lines, double-spaced.
Submissions must be presented under a pseudonym or motto. Works should be delivered in a sealed envelope containing the author's personal details. Entries can be submitted in person at the Municipal Library or by postal mail to the institution's address in Bustarviejo.
The submission deadline will remain open until August 31, 2026.
An independent jury will be responsible for selecting the winning work. A single prize will be awarded, consisting of a weekend for two people at a Parador de Turismo hotel. The contest results will be announced in October 2026.
