The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert for storms with a risk of hail and strong wind gusts in the Sierra de Madrid. The alert will be active during Saturday afternoon and evening.

The meteorological alert will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, according to information provided by Aemet. Adverse weather conditions are expected in the mountainous area of the region.
The Madrid 112 Security and Emergency Agency (ASEM112) has advised drivers traveling through the Sierra to exercise extreme caution, as the progression of storms could negatively impact road conditions.
Concurrently, Aemet maintains a yellow alert for high temperatures across the Community of Madrid, active between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Maximum temperatures could reach 39ºC.
The day will also be characterized by the presence of dust and the possibility of scattered storms in other parts of the Madrid region.
