The Local Development area of the Guadarrama City Council has launched a crucial training initiative aimed at improving employability. This involves six courses focused on the use of digital tools, delivered by Fundación Cibervoluntarios through its YoConecto program. The primary goal is to strengthen participants' technological competencies, an increasingly demanded aspect in today's work environment.
The training offer covers various key areas for professional development in the digital age. Among the available courses are 'Job Search in the Digital World', 'Your Digital CV', 'Create Content with Artificial Intelligence', 'Apply Artificial Intelligence in Your Business', 'Security: Protect Your Digital World', and 'Useful Apps for Online Procedures Management'. All training sessions are free and will be conducted in person at the El Soto Training Center.
Each course consists of four three-hour sessions, held in the morning from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. To participate, interested individuals must have a mobile phone. Places are limited, and although it is possible to register for multiple courses, priority will be given to ensuring all applicants can access at least one of the training programs offered.
The registration deadlines vary by course. For 'Job Search in the Digital World' and 'Your Digital CV', the deadline is April 10. The courses 'Create Content with Artificial Intelligence' and 'Apply Artificial Intelligence in Your Business' have a deadline of April 17. Finally, for 'Digital Security' and 'Apps for Online Procedures', registration closes on April 24, provided places have not filled up earlier.
This initiative is part of the YoConecto program, which falls under Red.es and the Generación D initiative of the Ministry for Digital Transformation, funded by European Next Generation EU funds. Fundación Cibervoluntarios, with over two decades of experience in promoting digital literacy and technological inclusion, is responsible for delivering these training sessions.
