The new infrastructure, representing an investment of 7,900 euros, is located in the children's area of Saturnino Fernández Vallejo Park. Its design incorporates adapted seating, restraint systems, and ergonomic backrests, facilitating its use for children with mobility challenges as well as their companions.
“"This action responds to a real need expressed by residents and reflects the inclusive municipality model we seek to build. A Galapagar where all children can play and enjoy our public spaces equally."
Councillor José María Escudero emphasized that inclusion is an obligation for the administration, highlighting the importance of guaranteeing it in all areas, including leisure and play. This project is another step in the Town Council's commitment to the community.
The long-term goal of the Galapagar Town Council is to expand these types of facilities throughout the municipality, ensuring that each area has at least one adapted playground. To achieve this, they have expressed their intention to continue actively listening to the demands of local families.
