The Collado Villalba City Council, through its Children and Youth Area, has organized a free excursion to the El Álamo Medieval Market for May 3rd, offering 55 spots including transportation and a guide.

This initiative is part of the 'Family Excursions' Program, which aims to promote cultural and leisure activities for all family members. The El Álamo Medieval Market, recognized as a Tourist Interest Fair of the Community of Madrid, promises an immersive experience with a two-kilometer route through its streets.
Attendees will enjoy a medieval-themed environment, where over 250 artisans will display their products. Furthermore, the residents of El Álamo actively participate, decorating their homes and businesses, and dressing in period costumes, playing roles such as bailiffs, merchants, puppeteers, beggars, or jesters.
The excursion, which is completely free, includes round-trip bus service from Collado Villalba and the accompaniment of a monitor throughout the day. Registrations will be processed on a strict first-come, first-served basis via an online form. Residents registered in Collado Villalba can sign up starting April 13th at 09:30 AM, while the registration period for non-residents will open on April 27th.
For more details about this activity, interested parties can visit the Youth Center, located at Calle Rincón de las Eras, 10, or contact them by phone at 91 851 24 94 or by email at centrodejuventud@ayto-colladovillalba.org.
