The town of Moralzarzal is preparing to host a new edition of MoralRock on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The Bullring will be the venue for this event, which this year features a lineup composed entirely of local artists from the Sierra de Madrid. The festival aims to highlight the musical talent of the region and offer a day of rock energy for all audiences.
The event, which will kick off at 7:00 PM, will have free admission until full capacity. The program has been designed to cover various facets of the genre, from classics to fresher, more emerging proposals.
The opening act at 7:00 PM will be The Black Wolves, known for revitalizing anthems from past decades with their personal style. At 8:00 PM, Electric Flames, one of the award-winning groups of the competition, will perform, blending influences from classic rock, metal, and folk. They will be followed at 9:00 PM by Defi100T, a winning band from the competition, presenting their hard and powerful rock.
At 10:00 PM, Sun Dyc will keep the night's rhythm going before the main act. The grand finale will arrive at 11:30 PM with San Francisco Express, a tribute band to Los Suaves, nationally recognized for their fidelity to the original sound of the iconic band from Ourense. For nearly two hours, they will perform anthems like "Dolores se llamaba Lola" and "San Francisco Express".
The festival is an initiative of the Youth Department of the Moralzarzal City Council, which has relaunched the Villa de Moralzarzal Young Music Contest, restoring its competition format and participatory spirit. The contest, created in 2004, aims to provide a professional stage for new musicians, recalling previous editions that featured national headliners.
