The Valdemorillo City Council has announced the launch of the 'Vacaciones Tranquilas' program, an initiative by the Local Police to strengthen property security during the summer season.

The service, which will be operational from July 1st to September 15th, allows residents traveling outside the municipality to provide contact details for emergencies. Additionally, interested parties can deposit a copy of their home or business keys so that officers can access the property in critical situations such as fires, floods, or burglaries.
Applications and key drop-offs will begin on June 29th at the Local Police headquarters, located in the VALSEM Building, at number 4 Virgen de la Esperanza street. Public service hours will be from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The council guarantees confidentiality through the use of sealed envelopes and control numbering for key storage. At the same time, the police force has issued a series of preventive recommendations, such as avoiding posting absences on social media, not leaving messages on answering machines indicating the house is empty, and asking trusted individuals to collect mail.
