The sixth edition of the international exhibition MIRALIBRO 2026 in Valdemorillo has concluded with remarkable success, attracting nearly 700 visitors and highlighting the quality of artist book works.

The event, which closed on Saturday, May 9, has been a crucial meeting point for artists and the public, establishing itself as a benchmark in the field of artist books. The organization, led by Equipo Mítico, received support from various sponsors, contributing to the initiative's growth and recognition.

During the closing ceremony, the mayor of the town, alongside the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, congratulated the participants and emphasized the originality and talent of the 43 authors whose works were exhibited. The exhibition has been a reflection of creativity and innovation in this artistic format.
Among the award winners, Elisenda Mallol received the First Prize from the City Council for her work Cámara propia, endowed with 600 euros. María Jesús Gómez was awarded the Sponsors' Prize for La historia de Simbad el marino, being the most voted work by the public with 118 out of 440 votes cast. Additionally, Gloria García Fernández received a Special Mention from the Jury for her piece Color. Ilusión. Narrativa. Evasión ¿Entras?, and Carmen Santos Chércoles received a runner-up prize for Mi Cine, the second most voted work.
