The municipality of Soto del Real has begun construction on a second multi-sport court and a climbing wall at the Anillo Verde, fully funded by the local council.

The new sports infrastructure is located next to the court opened in 2024. This initiative addresses the growing demand from residents for more space to practice sports such as basketball or tennis, avoiding the need for travel or long wait times.
The project involves an investment of 32,292.18 euros for the court and 44,869.70 euros for the climbing wall. Both projects are funded entirely by the local government, without external subsidies, aiming to improve access to free public sports facilities.
The Anillo Verde is becoming a key hub for physical activity in Soto del Real. This area already features a beach volleyball court, a skatepark, and calisthenics zones, now adding new spaces for residents of all ages to enjoy.
