The City Council of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has launched an advanced technological solution for managing its underground parking facilities.

The initiative covers the design, supply, installation, and configuration of an integrated system aimed at real-time monitoring of vehicle flow and parking space occupancy in the public parking lots located at Plaza de la Constitución and Calle del Rey, beneath Parque de Felipe II.
This technological infrastructure includes passage sensors at access points, control units, digital information panels, a central server, and a management application. Necessary civil works, power supply, and communication systems have also been implemented for its proper functioning.
The system processes data captured by the sensors to determine the occupancy and number of available spaces in each parking lot. This information is disseminated via LED panels strategically placed at access points to the urban center.
Furthermore, the solution integrates with the Content Manager and the Smart City Platform, allowing occupancy data to be accessed through the municipal website, the mobile application, and other dissemination channels. The system also enables the generation of occupancy histories and authorized manual corrections to ensure the highest level of information reliability.
