San Lorenzo de El Escorial is hosting a new edition of Solidarity Saturday this Saturday, June 13th, an event organized by the City Council to showcase the work of associations and foster citizen collaboration.

The Plaza de Jacinto Benavente (Los Jardincillos) will be the venue for this event, taking place between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The main goal is to highlight the efforts of various social and solidarity entities linked to the municipality and encourage residents and visitors to engage with their projects.
Throughout the day, attendees can visit information booths where different organizations will detail their work, initiatives, and available collaboration channels for citizens. The event promotes values of cooperation, inclusion, and social support.
Funds raised will be fully allocated to the projects of the participating entities, thereby strengthening support for individuals in vulnerable situations. Among the confirmed organizations are Cáritas Madrid, Cruz Roja (Red Cross), Agua de Coco, Fundación Siempre Adelante, Fundación Adisgua 2050, and Fundación APASCOVI, along with other local associations.
