Vehicle access to La Pedriza, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, will be restricted until September 30 to control visitor numbers and parking availability.

The Manzanares El Real City Council has implemented an access regulation for vehicles at the La Camorza barrier, located in the natural space of La Pedriza. This measure, which will be in effect until September 30, primarily aims to manage visitor flow and optimize the use of available parking spaces.
Car entry will be subject to specific time slots. From Mondays to Fridays, access will be permitted between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM, and again between 6:30 PM and 10:30 PM. On weekends and holidays, the morning slot is brought forward to 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, while the evening hours remain unchanged. Outside these established periods, the barrier will be closed to vehicular traffic.
The council has also reminded the public about the prohibition of parking vehicles overnight within La Pedriza. Specifically, parking is not allowed between 11:00 PM and 7:30 AM the following day, aiming to preserve the tranquility of the natural environment.
Visitors are advised to consult the official channels of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park before their trip. The goal is to check parking occupancy levels and be aware of any potential changes to access conditions. Additionally, buses wishing to enter La Pedriza must obtain prior authorization.
