The Miraflores de la Sierra City Council has inaugurated a new Social Center for Senior Citizens, aimed at adults over 60 years of age, with the goal of promoting their well-being and participation.

This center, designed as a close and welcoming meeting point, aims to foster active aging, strengthen personal autonomy, and promote social integration for its users. To achieve this, it offers a wide program of recreational, therapeutic, and enriching activities.
The activities are led by a sociocultural animator and an occupational therapist. The center, equipped with all amenities, is located in a spacious area within the seniors' residence.
Operating hours are from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, excluding holidays, a schedule designed to meet the needs of families.
To register, it is necessary to sign up in person at the City Council or through the Electronic Office. Afterward, center staff will contact applicants to arrange an interview.
Users who secure a spot can choose from different attendance options: a full month or 10- or 5-day attendance passes, valid for three months.
