The City Council of Moralzarzal joined this afternoon the call promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Federation of Municipalities of Madrid (FMM). The event, held in the Plaza de la Constitución, aimed to convey the municipality's support, affection, and backing to the people of Ceuta during their difficult times.
In front of a square full of residents, the first deputy mayor, Carlos Hernando, read an institutional declaration of support for Ceuta. He was accompanied by the mayor of Moralzarzal, José Mª Moreno, and the rest of the Government Team.
Coinciding with the commemoration of Ceuta Day, this symbolic act has sent a unanimous message of fraternity and closeness. During the reading of the manifesto, the serenity and dignity of Ceuta's society were highlighted, as well as recognition for the Security Forces and Corps, Armed Forces, emergency services, and volunteers for their daily work.
“"Ceuta is not alone. We are all Ceuta!"
The manifesto concluded by reaffirming the constitutional commitment and the solidarity of the entire municipality with this clear message.
