The Manzanares El Real City Council has announced various initiatives for September 2026. Notably, the National Identity Document (DNI) expedition team will visit on September 10th, facilitating its renewal and issuance without the need to travel to other towns. Free registration requests can be made until September 17th at the Municipal Sports Pavilion (Av. de La Pedriza, 36), Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In commemoration of the International Day of Peace, for which it is declared an International Zone of Culture of Peace, the municipality will celebrate this event on Sunday, September 20th, 2026. The day will feature a micro-story and illustration contest, promoting reflection and action against racism through literature and art.
Furthermore, Red Cross has launched new training courses aimed at improving professional skills and facilitating access to employment. The training offer includes in-person, blended, and online formats, catering to different profiles and entry requirements.
Additionally, due to the upcoming solar eclipse and the anticipated increase in visitors, the City Council has implemented a set of security measures to ensure the smooth running of the astronomical event. The company ASCAN SERVICIOS URBANOS, awarded the new service contract, is seeking responsible individuals with teamwork skills for outdoor physical work.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has also opened the application period for young people interested in the Cultiva 2026 program, which offers training internships on agricultural and livestock farms.
