The 'Desvelos de Cultura' program in Guadarrama kicks off this weekend with a varied leisure offering. On Friday, July 10th, at 8:00 PM, the municipal park will host a children's Water Games workshop, a free activity designed to cool down the little ones, in which the whole family can participate.
Saturday, July 11th, will feature a double event. At 8:00 PM, the La Torre Cultural Center will present “El viaje de Bastian” (Bastian's Journey), a family theater, music, and dance performance by Barroco Pasión. The play tells the story of Bastian, who embarks on a journey to reunite with his musician parents, discovering various encounters and lessons along the way.
Tickets for “El viaje de Bastian” cost €4.5 and can be purchased in advance via a specific link or, if available, at the box office of the La Torre Cultural Center on the day of the performance, from 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM. Concluding Saturday's events, at 9:30 PM, the Fuente de Los Caños will host a free concert by the duo Simply Chof, running until 11:30 PM.
Complementing the cultural offerings, the Tourism Department is organizing a Stroll through the Stars. This nocturnal activity combines gentle hiking, environmental interpretation, and guided astronomical observation in Guadarrama's natural surroundings. Lasting 2.5 hours, participation costs 5 euros per person, with limited spots available.
