El Escorial Celebrates San Juan's Night with Music and Tradition

La Manguilla Park will host family activities, live music, queimada, and the traditional bonfire jump.

El Escorial is preparing for San Juan's Night this Tuesday, June 23rd, with a celebration that will include family activities, live music, and traditional rituals.

The festival, which annually brings together residents and visitors, will take place at La Manguilla Park. Activities will commence at 8:00 PM with offerings designed for family enjoyment.
Young children can participate in face painting and children's entertainment until 10:00 PM. Subsequently, at 10:30 PM, the band The GreenTones will perform live music to liven up the evening.

"At midnight, the witches' conxuro will be celebrated, accompanied by a queimada tasting and the anticipated bonfire jump, one of the night's most symbolic moments."

The night will continue with music starting at 12:30 AM, extending the festivities into the early morning. The Commission of Married and Widowed Youths 2026 will manage a bar throughout the event.
This initiative is organized and sponsored by Peña La Canela, with the collaboration of the El Escorial City Council, the Commission of Married and Widowed Youths 2026, and several local businesses.
