El Escorial is set to host its April Fair this weekend, on April 18th and 19th, transforming Lorenzo Fernández Panadero Park into a vibrant stage for Andalusian culture with flamenco, sevillanas, and a festive atmosphere.

Organized by the City Council in collaboration with the Comisión de Mozos, Casados y Viudos 2026, this initiative aims to bring the essence of Andalusia to local residents, allowing them to enjoy its traditions without leaving the town. The event promises an immersion into the characteristic rhythm, music, and art of the region.
The program kicks off on Saturday, April 18th, with a sevillanas masterclass led by Silvia Reaño at 12:30 PM, followed by a flamenco aperitif featuring a performance by Ana Heras. In the afternoon, Silvia Reaño's dance group will offer a grand performance at 6:00 PM, followed by a show from José de la Plaza. Saturday's festivities will conclude at 1:00 AM with music and a festive ambiance.
On Sunday, April 19th, morning activities will include a performance by the Becerril de la Sierra Municipal Workshop with Ainhoa Soto at 12:00 PM. The Escorial Flamenco Cultural Association will close the day with singing and dancing. Similar to the previous day, a flamenco aperitif will be offered to all attendees, solidifying the fair as a cultural and social gathering point.
