The municipality of El Boalo, Cerceda y Mataelpino is organizing the twelfth edition of its Environment Fair on June 5th and 6th, 2026, coinciding with International Environment Day.

After a two-year absence, the town of Mataelpino will host the 12th Environment Fair, a free event organized by the Ayuntamiento de El Boalo. The fair will take place on June 5th and 6th, 2026, coinciding with the commemoration of International Environment Day.
This edition will be dedicated to environmental care, agroecology, sustainability, and ecological innovation. It will feature the participation of various companies, institutions, associations, and professionals from the environmental sector, who will present the latest developments in renewable energy, recycling, energy efficiency, circular economy, and responsible resource management.
The program of activities is designed for all audiences and includes an ornithological route, a local producers' market, swap areas, talks, round tables, workshops, exhibitions, and technological demonstrations. Additionally, specific activities for children and families have been planned.
The organization emphasizes that the main objective of the fair is to serve as a meeting point for knowledge exchange, foster strategic alliances, and bring the principles of sustainability closer to citizens in a practical and participatory manner. Special attention will be paid to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the transition towards more responsible production and consumption models.
