Colmenarejo Celebrates Cultural Diversity with ColmeOlé and International Gathering

The Sierra Central municipality will host two events on April 18th and 19th, combining equestrian tradition with global gastronomic and artistic richness.

The municipality of Colmenarejo is gearing up for a weekend full of cultural and traditional activities on April 18th and 19th, featuring the ColmeOlé celebration and the Colmenarejo International Gathering at Parque de la Trashumancia.

Organized by the Colmenarejo City Council, both events are supported by various local associations and businesses, such as the Horse Association and the Nationalities Association, among others. The aim is to offer a diverse program that blends local tradition with the richness of cultural diversity.

On Saturday, April 18th, Parque de la Trashumancia will host ColmeOlé, a festive day combining the Horse Fair with the atmosphere of the Feria de Abril. From 10:30 AM until midnight, attendees can enjoy a horse riding route, ribbon race, games, contests, live music, and dancing. Additionally, food and drink services will be available at popular prices to recreate the Andalusian ambiance.
On Sunday, April 19th, the same park will host the Colmenarejo International Gathering, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event will focus on coexistence and cultural exchange among the different nationalities present in the municipality. The program will include Zumba classes, traditional dance exhibitions, and a gastronomic showcase featuring typical dishes from up to nine different countries, thereby promoting diversity and mutual understanding.
