Nearly 2,000 schoolchildren from 14 educational centers in the Community of Madrid attended a Guardia Civil exhibition in Cercedilla for the conclusion of the School Security Plan Director.

The Bullring of Cercedilla served as the setting for a major operational deployment by security forces on the occasion of the official closing of the 2025/2026 school year of the Plan Director for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments. Approximately 2,000 schoolchildren from 14 educational centers in the Community of Madrid attended the event.
The central act was presided over by the Government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, who was accompanied by the chief general of the first zone of the Guardia Civil, Francisco Almansa Aguilar, and the mayor of Cercedilla, David José Martín Molpeceres. Martín emphasized the versatility of the Civil Guard in the Madrid region, highlighting its work in both major international events and the daily security of the mountain towns.
Official spokespersons detailed the impact and balance of preventive activities carried out in the region regarding school coexistence, bullying, and internet safety. The delegate linked the program's success to the overall reduction in crime, stating that the implemented guidelines established 2025 as the safest period in the history of the Community of Madrid.
The assessment from the Guardia Civil indicates that throughout 2025, specialized units carried out approximately 10,000 pedagogical and operational actions in 520 schools across the autonomous territory, aiming to minimize criminal behavior in classrooms and provide safe learning environments free from violence.
