Villaviciosa de Odón Honors the Civil Guard This Saturday

Villaviciosa de Odón concludes its events for National and Hispanic Day this Saturday with an institutional tribute to the Civil Guard.

The ceremony will include a flag-raising and the unveiling of a monolith honoring the security force. It will take place on Avenida Calatalifa, at the corner of Calle Azucena, at 11:00 AM.
The event is open to the public. Due to the ceremony, a section of Avenida Calatalifa, from the roundabout with Calle Orquídea heading out of town, will be closed to traffic from 8:00 AM until the event concludes around 12:00 PM.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be available via Calle San Lorenzo, or via Calle Orquídea to connect with Camino de Pinares Llanos, or directly via the latter.
