The town of Villaviciosa de Odón is preparing to celebrate the III Hispanidad Days, an event that will take place between Thursday, October 8th, and Monday, October 12th. The program includes a variety of cultural and commemorative activities aimed at different audiences.
The days will begin on Thursday, October 8th, with a school activity focused on the 'Flavors of Hispanidad' by the workshops of Antonio Ventura “El Quinto Sabor” at the Salón Cívico at 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, at 6:00 PM, the Sala de Arte del Coliseo de la Cultura will host the screening of the documentary 'We the Hispanos - Spain, Root of the United States' by José Luis López-Linares, followed by a brief discussion.
On Friday, October 9th, the Sala de Arte del Coliseo de la Cultura will be the venue for the conference 'Isabel Zendal: the Royal Philanthropic Expedition of the Vaccine', presented by Rafael Codes at 6:00 PM.
The weekend brings more offerings: on Saturday, October 10th, the Auditorio Teresa Berganza will present 'Miras, legacy in motion', by the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid, at 7:00 PM.
The days will conclude on Monday, October 12th, the feast day of the Virgen del Pilar, with a mass at the Iglesia Santiago Apóstol at 12:00 PM. Afterwards, at 1:00 PM, the Guardia Civil Barracks will celebrate the feast of its patron saint.
