The cultural agenda in Torrelodones for this week includes three shows at the Bulevar Theater and the exhibition 'The Memory of Color' by Silvia Anel at the Paco de Lucía House of Culture. The theater events will take place from Thursday, September 24 to Saturday, September 26.
On Thursday, September 24, at 7:30 PM, the Bulevar Theater will host a charity concert for the victims of the Venezuelan earthquakes. This event is the result of collaboration between the City Council, the Paco de Lucía Foundation, and the Ibero-American Encounters Project of the Orchestra of the Faculty of Geography and History of the UCM, featuring a repertoire of original compositions and arrangements from various origins.
On Friday, September 25, between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, 'Goteras' will premiere, a production by the Theaters Network of the Community of Madrid. The play tells the story of Toni, a playwright who discovers a connection with his future through a domestic problem.
To conclude the theatrical program, on Saturday, September 26, also starting at 7:30 PM, the Bulevar Theater will present the inclusive play 'Lo siento'. Produced by the Cultural Association Teatro Unificado Las Rozas and directed by Manu Medina, the play sensitively explores Rico's emotional journey as he faces discrimination without fully understanding it, and will be signed in Spanish Sign Language (LSE).
Tickets for the plays 'Goteras' and 'Lo Siento' will be available on the municipal website.
In parallel, the Paco de Lucía House of Culture is exhibiting the exhibition 'The Memory of Color' by local artist Silvia Anel until October 16. The exhibition features over thirty recent works, many of them large-format, showcasing the artist's creative maturity.
