The musical program, titled From Impressionism to Jazz, a symphonic journey between Paris and New York, will feature the Proarte Philharmonic Orchestra. The event, supported by the Torrelodones City Council and the Francisco de Vitoria University, is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM.
The selected repertoire offers a tour through diverse soundscapes. The evening will open with the vibrancy of España by Chabrier, followed by Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue, a piece that blends classical sophistication with the cosmopolitan pulse of jazz.
After the intermission, the program will delve into the delicacy of Debussy's Petite Suite. The concert will conclude with Ravel's Bolero, a work renowned for its technical precision and its progressive orchestral crescendo.
