The municipal summer pools in Collado Villalba have opened their doors, offering free entry on orange heat alert days for those over 65 and families with children under 10.

The summer season at the municipal pools in Collado Villalba has now begun. The facility will be available to the public until September 6th, operating daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The only day it will be closed is July 24th, which is a local holiday.
As a notable new feature for this summer campaign, free entry will be provided on days declared under an orange alert for heatwaves. This measure will benefit both individuals over 65 and families registered in the municipality with children under 10 years old.
This open-air complex, located near the Ciudad Deportiva and Aquatic Center on Las Águedas street, spans a 5,000 square meter lawn area. It features various recreational pools, slides, and water gliders. For this season, a maximum capacity of 1,000 people has been set, and safety will be ensured by a team of 20 lifeguards working in shifts.

"The City Council's objective is to make this venue a fun and pleasant place for family recreation, offering the best service, quality, and guarantees for all users."

Collado Villalba City Council
The mayor, Mariola Vargas, along with the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Bodega, visited the facilities, confirming that everything is ready for residents and visitors to enjoy this remarkable municipal installation, which has become a regional benchmark during the summer months.
