The municipalities of Galapagar, Las Rozas, and San Lorenzo de El Escorial have once again been honored with the InfoParticipa Seal, an award recognizing transparency and effective communication in local government.

This award, granted by a working group from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, recognizes city councils that excel in the quality, accessibility, and clarity of the information they provide to their citizens.
San Lorenzo de El Escorial has successfully revalidated the seal for the sixth consecutive year, achieving a 100% compliance rate in the evaluated indicators. This result places it among the seven most transparent municipalities in the Community of Madrid, alongside towns such as Alcalá de Henares, Alcobendas, Las Rozas, Madrid, Pozuelo de Alarcón, and Torrejón de Ardoz.

"Revalidating this seal with the highest score is excellent news for San Lorenzo de El Escorial and a recognition of the constant work carried out by the City Council to offer clear, accessible, and useful public information for all residents. Transparency is not only an administrative obligation but a way of governing based on closeness and accountability, and this recognition encourages us to continue improving communication channels with citizens and to continue advancing towards an increasingly open local administration."

For its part, Galapagar has also been recognized for the second consecutive year with the InfoParticipa Seal, positioning itself among the most transparent municipalities in Spain. The council achieved a score of 94% and was awarded the Extraordinary Mentoring Prize.

"Receiving this seal for the second consecutive year demonstrates that Galapagar has recovered a line of work based on closeness, public information, and citizen trust. Our City Council has once again become open, accessible, and transparent, and this seal validates all the work carried out in recent years."

The analysis for granting these seals is conducted by the ComSET research group from the UAB and evaluates 54 indicators related to the composition and functioning of the municipal corporation, the management of public resources, economic information, citizen participation, and institutional communication, all accessible through transparency portals and municipal websites.
