From October 8th to 17th, the Ricardo León Library in Galapagar will offer a series of free activities for Harry Potter fans. Entry is free until capacity is reached, and for some events, prior registration will be required via email at biblioteca@galapagar.es.
The program kicks off on Thursday, October 8th, with the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Spells and Potions’, featuring items loaned by Miriam Camacho, which can be visited until October 25th. Following this, the ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone’ Reading Club will be held for those over 8 years old (with adult accompaniment), requiring prior registration.
On Thursday, October 15th, at 7:00 PM, the conference ‘Classical Mythology in the Harry Potter Saga (II)’ will take place, interpreted in LSE and aimed at an adult audience. This activity is organized by Blas Bouzas Moares.
On Friday, October 16th, two events are scheduled: at 6:00 PM, the workshop ‘Artistic Potions’ for ages 6 and up; and at 7:00 PM, the Harry Potter Trivial Tournament for those over 12 years old. Minors should check participation requirements during registration.
The celebration will conclude on Saturday, October 17th, with the workshop ‘Harry Potter Lettering and the Calligraphy of the Magical Universe’ (6:00 PM, all audiences) and the Harry Potter Cluedo: ‘Mystery at Hogwarts’ (7:00 PM, ages 10 and up). Both activities require prior registration.
