The exhibition, which will be open to the public until June 14 with free admission, offers a contemporary reinterpretation of Antonio Mingote's humor. The official opening took place this Tuesday.
The inauguration was attended by prominent figures such as the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid, Mariano de Paco Serrano; the mayor of Pozuelo de Alarcón, Paloma Tejero; the Councilor for Culture, Almudena Ruiz; and the president of the Antonio Mingote Foundation, José Antonio Pérez.
Created in collaboration with the Antonio Mingote Foundation, the exhibition combines a chronological and thematic approach to present the author as a visual thinker. It highlights his ability to synthesize reflections on the human condition, history, power, and daily life through his drawings.
The exhibition proposes humor as a critical and humanistic tool, where irony and reflection coexist. In addition to the displayed pieces, the program includes complementary activities.
Among the parallel activities, a round table titled 'Discover Antonio Mingote' and a guided tour will be held on June 4, led by the president of the Foundation and other experts.
