The Tres Cantos City Council has unveiled its extensive summer program for 2026, featuring over 40 activities designed for all ages and preferences, including recreational, cultural, sports, and language options.

The town of Tres Cantos is gearing up for a summer full of options with one of the most comprehensive programs in recent years. With over 40 activities spread across six main categories—recreational, cultural, sports, languages, artistic, and senior—the offerings aim to satisfy the interests of all residents, from 3-year-olds to those over 65.

"We have worked to ensure that every resident finds a proposal that fits their interests, from sports and scientific activities to creative, nature, or language options."

For the youngest, the recreational offer is particularly broad. The Urban Camps return in July and August to the Miguel de Cervantes School, featuring daily swimming, sports games, and crafts. Prices vary by duration, with discounts for large families. In-person registrations will take place on May 4 and 6 at the City Hall Lobby, and online from May 4 to 24.
Highlights include the ABJorro Summer Camp at the Factoría Cultural, offering experiments and emotional intelligence workshops, and the Scientific Camp, focused on programming, electronics, and astronomy. For teenagers, the Urban Camp at Vértice Centro Joven provides social skills workshops, while the Nature and Adventure Camp in the Sierra de Burgos offers outdoor activities like hiking and canoeing.
The sports program is the most extensive, with over 20 camps and courses. The Summer Swimming Courses at CD Gabriel Parellada are the most affordable option. Intensive tennis and paddle tennis courses are also available, along with the unique Felipe Reyes Basketball Campus, and volleyball, fencing, and badminton camps. For an experience outside Tres Cantos, the Surf and Adventure Camp in Asturias is aimed at young people aged 12 to 17.
Regarding languages, the Tres Cantos English Camp runs throughout July at the Carmen Iglesias School, with native monitors and swimming pool access. The Summer Sports Camp combines English, sports, and swimming at the Ciudad de Nejapa School. Additionally, English courses in Ireland are offered for young people aged 12 to 17, with destinations in Drogheda and Dublin, including flights, accommodation, and activities.
Seniors over 65 also have a specific program in June and July, which includes outdoor gymnastics, cognitive stimulation workshops, dance classes, and digital training. The Knowledge Classroom complements this offer with free lectures and courses on science, culture, and technology. Registrations for most municipal activities open online from May 4 to 24, with some in-person options at the City Hall.
