The event, which combines film screenings with discussions led by CSIC researchers, will take place on Fridays, November 6 and 13, and Wednesday, November 11, all starting at 5:00 PM.
The series will kick off on Friday, November 6, with the screening of ‘Europa Report’, which narrates an international crew's mission to search for life on Jupiter's fourth largest moon. It will feature experts such as Julio Cárabe XXX, Lily Astronauta, XXXXXX, and Lorenzo Delgado from the Institute of History (IH-CSIC).
On Wednesday, November 11, two episodes of the series ‘Black Mirror’ will be screened: ‘Be Right Back’, about a service that allows contact with the deceased, and ‘Arkangel’, which explores the use of cutting-edge trackers for child safety. The experts will be the same as in the previous session.
The final session, on Friday, November 13, will present ‘Ron da Error’, the story of the friendship between a clumsy middle school student and his new walking, talking, digitally connected device. Julio Cárabe XXX, Lily Astronauta, XXXXXX, and Lorenzo Delgado will participate again.
All screenings will be preceded by a short film on the proposed theme. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
