The municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes is preparing for a journey back in time with the celebration of its Renaissance Foundation Market. This event, organized by the City Council, will take place from April 24 to 26, transforming the area around the Plaza de Toros and the urban center into a setting inspired by the Renaissance.
The initiative commemorates the city's founding in 1492, offering a cultural proposal that combines history, craftsmanship, and leisure. Over three days, visitors can immerse themselves in an atmosphere evoking 15th-century life, with activities designed for all audiences.

The program includes live theater and music performances, parades, historical animation, and period reenactments.

One of the market's main attractions will be the traditional craft workshops, where specialized artisans will demonstrate ancient techniques related to leatherwork, ceramics, woodworking, and ironwork. Additionally, the venue will feature craft stalls and a varied gastronomic offer, all integrated into a space designed to reflect the commercial activity of the era.

This celebration is part of San Sebastián de los Reyes' anniversary commemorative program, with the goal of highlighting the municipality's cultural heritage.
