The Municipal Government today greenlit the basic and execution project for a new outdoor sports facility in the Dehesa Vieja neighborhood. The aim is to provide the municipality with a new space for training and sports practice, adding to those already built in Tempranales and Fresno Norte.
The facility will include two regulation-size futsal goals, basketball hoops, pre-installation for lighting, and a water point. The allocated investment amounts to 352,684 euros, addressing a long-standing demand from residents, particularly families in the area.
This intervention also includes track sanitation and drainage work, which will help resolve the flooding issues the neighborhood experiences. Thus, the City Council expands the public spaces available in the city.
The estimated completion time for the works is set for the first quarter of 2027.
