The jury awarded the prize for his poetry collection "Lo que siguió sirviendo", recognizing its literary merit and its focus on memory and everyday use.
The award, endowed with 9,000 euros, includes the publication of the work by the publisher Ya lo dijo Casimiro Parker, with a first edition of at least 300 copies.
The awarded work is structured in compositions that explore spaces, objects, and gestures linked to memory. Poems such as "Ala vieja", "Archivo muerto", "Sala de espera", "Los que cierran", "Piscina municipal en invierno", "Capilla / depósito", "Barrio de noche", "Inventario de obra", and "Después del derribo" are part of the collection.

Olvido García Valdés, a jury member, highlighted the essence of the work, describing it as "profoundly poetic and very beautiful to read".
Eduardo López Feoli, who holds a degree in Physical Education, is pursuing studies in Education and Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the University of the Republic (Udelar) in Uruguay. He has presented papers at academic colloquiums and contributes journalistic articles to the newspaper La diaria.
The jury, which also included Pureza Canelo, Julio Martínez Mesanza, Manuel Rico, and Carolina Alba Castro Estévez (representing RTVE), paid homage to the poet José Hierro.
The competition, open to individuals over 18 years of age of any nationality, aims to promote poetic creation in the Spanish language. The award ceremony will take place as part of the outreach activities organized by the City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyes.
