The Fuentesanta Association, in collaboration with the City Council, has launched the first edition of the ‘Our Seniors Awards’ in San Sebastián de los Reyes, accolades aimed at recognizing the careers and contributions of older adults and the work of organizations.

Six awards will recognize seniors and entities in the municipality, with two of them open to public participation. Nominations for these popular awards, which require prior registration, can be submitted until next November 29.
The ‘Our Seniors’ award, aimed at individuals aged 13 and over, allows for a nomination of up to two pages explaining why a senior from San Sebastián de los Reyes deserves recognition. Meanwhile, the ‘Thank You, Grandpa/Grandma’ award is for children up to 12 years old, who must write one page explaining their reasons and the name of an adult.
Nominations should be sent to the email address premiosnuestrosmayores@asociacionfuentesanta.org, indicating the nominator's name, the person to be recognized, their age, and contact details.
In addition to the popular awards, other accolades will be presented without prior registration. These include recognitions for the business and commercial trajectory of the municipality, a senior who has contributed to its development, entities committed to the well-being of seniors, and an illustrious member of the association.
The awards ceremony will take place on December 11 in the Auditorium of the ‘Marcelino Camacho’ Training Center.
