The Tres Cantos City Council has released its anticipated ‘Guide to Activities and Summer Camps 2026’, a digital compilation detailing over 40 proposals for all ages, from three-year-olds to seniors over 65, covering recreational, cultural, and sports options.

The guide, now available on the municipal website, provides comprehensive information on dates, schedules, and prices for each activity. The summer program is structured into six thematic blocks, designed to cater to the interests of a wide range of the population.
Among the most prominent options are urban camps and various themed colonies, such as the ABJorro Summer Camp, the Scientific Camp, and the Climbing Colonies. Leisure days and specific programs for teenagers have also been included, along with cooking, technology, and artistic creation workshops to be held at the Vértice Youth Center.
The offerings extend to camps in natural environments outside the locality, such as Burgos and Asturias, where participants can enjoy adventure activities and contact with nature, including experiences like surfing. For those interested in training, programs such as the English Camp or the Summer Sports Camp are proposed, combining language learning with sports practice. Additionally, stays in Ireland, in cities like Drogheda and Dublin, will be facilitated, focusing on linguistic and cultural immersion.
The Municipal Schools of Dance, Theater, and Music will offer intensive courses and practical workshops during the summer, aiming to improve technique and foster artistic expression. In the sports field, the program includes camps and courses for volleyball, roller hockey, skating, futsal, artistic gymnastics, tennis, paddle tennis, swimming, badminton, and table tennis, complemented by the residential Surf Camp in Asturias for teenagers.
Finally, a specific block has been reserved for seniors over 65, with adapted physical maintenance activities, cognitive stimulation workshops, and sociocultural proposals such as dances, social gatherings, and digital tool training. The Knowledge Classroom will also provide free courses, workshops, and lectures given by universities, addressing topics in science, technology, culture, and contemporary thought.
