The municipality of Tres Cantos participated in the annual fundraiser by the Spanish Association Against Cancer on May 7, aiming to collect essential funds for oncological research and comprehensive support for patients and their families.

The solidarity day saw institutional support from the Tres Cantos City Council, which backed activities held at various points across the municipality. Volunteers from the association set up information desks and donation points in strategic locations throughout the city.
The main activity was concentrated near the entrance of the City Council, where an information desk served as a meeting point between the entity and the public. Additionally, other participation spaces were set up on Avenida de España, Avenida de Colmenar, Avenida de Viñuelas, the Recinto Ferial market, and the Ciudad de Tres Cantos Shopping Center.

"Donations collected during the fundraiser are allocated to cancer research projects, as well as comprehensive care programs. These include accompaniment services and psychological support aimed at individuals affected by the disease and their family environment."
