The Tres Cantos City Council has unanimously approved measures to mitigate aircraft noise and an institutional declaration for the International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day during its June plenary session.

The municipal corporation has approved a motion aimed at reducing acoustic pollution caused by air traffic affecting the municipality. The agreement establishes the need to maintain constant coordination between different administrations and competent bodies to minimize the impact of aircraft over the urban area of Tres Cantos.
During the same session, the plenary ratified an institutional declaration in favor of equality, respect, and coexistence. Under the slogan Tres Cantos: Sumando Diversidad, the text highlights the council's commitment to promoting educational and awareness initiatives to eradicate hate and protect the dignity of all individuals.
The council has scheduled the public reading of the approved manifesto for this Friday, June 26, at 12:00 PM, at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Meanwhile, a proposal presented by a municipal group regarding the concession of Plan Vive housing did not receive sufficient support to pass.
